Iodomercurate salt

A general term for salts that are considered to have the chemical formula [Hg II I 3 ] - or [Hg II I 4 ] 2- . However, this chemical unit does not always exist in the solid phase. There is no corresponding compound for Hg I. Since the Hg 2+ ion forms a stable iodine complex anion in aqueous solution, it is usually synthesized from an aqueous solution of mercury(II) iodide in an alkali iodide solution. 化学式で[HgIII3]－または[HgIII4]2－の塩とみなされる塩の総称。ただし固相においてつねにこの化学単位が存在するとは限らない。HgIについては対応する化合物は存在しない。Hg2＋イオンは水溶液中で安定なヨード錯陰イオンを生成するので，通常ヨウ化水銀(II)のヨウ化アルカリ水溶液から合成される。(1)テトラヨード水銀酸カリウム 化学式K2[HgI4]･2H2O。淡黄色柱状結晶。水，エチルアルコールによく溶ける。
