Born on March 1, 1720. A samurai of the Owari Nagoya domain. While working as a servant, he studied under Motoori Norinaga and invested a large amount of money to support Norinaga's publication of works such as "Kojiki-den." He passed away on July 24, 1712. He was 64 years old. His given name was Hirotoki. He was also known by the names Kingo, Kippei, and Jurozaemon. His other pen name was Yuzono. His works include "Poetry Theory" and "Words of Heaven."
