Yunou ruins

Japanese: 湯納遺跡 - ゆのういせき

This ruin is located in Jyurokucho, Nishi-ku, Fukuoka City. It was discovered during the construction of the bypass for National Route 202, and various remains and artifacts from the Jomon, Yayoi, Kofun, and historical periods have been excavated. There are many Yayoi period ruins in the surrounding area, and Miyanomae Ruins is famous as a tomb from the transitional period between the Yayoi and Kofun periods. Remains that have been investigated include pit dwellings from the late Yayoi to early Kofun periods, rice paddy remains, weirs, post-hole buildings from the historical period, wells, ditches, and earthen pits. The artifacts that have been excavated are diverse, including Jomon pottery, Yayoi pottery, Haji pottery, Sue ware, roof ware, blue-and-white porcelain, miniature pottery, spindle wheels, earthen weights, supports, and wooden products.

福岡市西区大字拾六町にある遺跡。国道202号線バイパス工事で発見された遺跡で，縄文時代，弥生時代，古墳時代，歴史時代のさまざまな遺構･遺物が出土している。周辺には弥生時代の遺跡が多く，宮の前遺跡は弥生時代から古墳時代への移行期の墳墓として有名である。遺構は弥生時代後期から古墳時代前期の竪穴住居，水田遺構，井堰，歴史時代の掘立柱建物，井戸，溝，土壙が調査されている。出土した遺物は縄文土器，弥生土器，土師器（はじき），須恵器，瓦器，青白磁，ミニチュア土器，紡錘車，土錘，支脚，木製品など，多岐にわたっている。
