Angular stone tools

Japanese:
Angular stone tools
It is a type of weapon-shaped stone product from the Yayoi period found only in eastern Japan, and about 50 examples have been excavated so far. As most of them were collected without excavation surveys, they were once thought to be special relics from the Jomon period, but recently, an increasing number of items have been excavated from settlements, such as pit dwellings, and it has become clear that they were treated in the same way as everyday tools from the same period. They have a fan-shaped axe-like blade with horn-shaped protrusions on both ends and a rod-shaped handle at the base, and range in length from 11 cm to 19 cm, and many are made of senryokan stone.
