Japanese: 峯相記 - みねあいき

A geography book of Harima Province during the Kamakura and Nanboku-cho periods. It can also be read as "Houso-ki" or "Busho-ki." The author is unknown, but it was written in the form of a traveling monk who visited Keisoku-ji Temple in Hosozan, Harima Province (present-day Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture) in 1348 and recorded what he heard from monks at the temple. It is a valuable historical material for understanding society during the Kamakura and Nanboku-cho periods. It is particularly famous for its description of the villains of Harima Province, who are described as wearing persimmon-colored katabira (robe), hats, masks, and unique weapons such as pebbles, and who acted freely. The oldest copy, copied in 1511, remains at Ikaruga Temple in Taishi Town, Hyogo Prefecture.

鎌倉・南北朝時代の播磨国の地誌。〈ほうそうき〉〈ぶしょうき〉とも読む。作者は不明だが，1348年に播磨国の峯相山(ほうそうざん)鶏足(けいそく)寺（現兵庫県姫路市）に参詣した旅の僧が，同寺の僧から聞き書きをしたという形式で記述される。鎌倉・南北朝期の社会を知るうえで貴重な史料。なかでも，柿色の帷子(かたびら)を着て，笠を被り，面を覆い，飛礫(つぶて)など独特の武器を使用して奔放な活動をしたと描かれる播磨国の悪党についての記述は有名。兵庫県太子(たいし)町の斑鳩(いかるが)寺に，1511年に写された最古の写本が残る。
