Japanese: ヤシ条約 - ヤシじょうやく（英語表記）Treaty of Jassy

The Treaty of Iaşi was concluded in 1792 in Iaşi (now part of Romania) as a result of the Russo-Turkish War (1787-92) between Russia, which was pursuing a southward expansion policy, and the Ottoman Empire. By this treaty, Russia was able to confirm the Treaty of Küçük Kaynarca of 1774 and the annexation of Crimea in 1783, and gained Russia control of the northern Black Sea coast up to the Dniester River. This treaty had a significant impact on the history of the Middle East in that it enabled Russia to navigate the Black Sea freely, and on the history of the Balkans in that it broke the alliance between Russia and Austria and prevented the Balkans from repeating the fate of Poland after the partition of the region.

南下政策をとるロシアとオスマン帝国との露土戦争(1787‐92)の結果，1792年にヤシIaşi(現，ルーマニア領)で締結された条約。ロシアはこれによって，1774年のキュチュク･カイナルジャ条約と83年のクリミア併合をオスマン帝国に確認させ，ドニエストル川に至る黒海北岸地域を領有した。この条約は，ロシアの黒海自由航行を可能にした点で以後の中東史に，またロシアとオーストリアの共闘体制が崩れ，バルカン地方がポーランド分割の二の舞を演じずにすんだ点で，以後のバルカン史に重要な影響を与えた。
