Malathion

...A low-toxicity organophosphate insecticide developed by American Cyanamid (ACC) in the United States. Although it is a trade name, in Japan it is used as a common name along with malathion. Its insecticidal power is often slightly inferior to that of parathion and sumithion, but it is characterized by its fast-acting effect and little residual effect.
