Miwa Juso - Miwa Juso

Japanese: 三輪寿壮 - みわじゅそう
Miwa Juso - Miwa Juso

Politician. Born in Fukuoka Prefecture on December 15, 1894. Graduated from the Faculty of Law at Tokyo Imperial University. While at university, he joined the Shinjinkai. After graduation, he founded the Shakai Shisosha, and in 1926 (Taisho 15), he became the first secretary-general of the Labor and Farmer Party, and after the party split, the Japan Labor and Farmer Party. In the 1937 (Showa 12) general election, he ran as a candidate for the Social Mass Party, and was elected (Tokyo 5th district). He then planned to merge the Social Mass Party and the Tohokai, and joined the leadership of the Imperial Rule Assistance Association and the Great Japan Industrial Patriotic Association. After his ban from holding public office was lifted in 1950 (Showa 25), he returned to the Diet as a member of the right-wing Socialist Party in the 1952 general election. He worked to unify the two parties.
