Japanese: 三好[町] - みよし

A former town in Miyoshi County in the northwest of Tokushima Prefecture. It occupies the northern bank of the upper reaches of the Yoshino River, on the southern slope of the Sanuki Mountains. The main settlement is Hiruma, located on an alluvial fan, and is served by the Tokushima Line. In addition to producing rice, wheat, and tobacco, the town also engages in dairy farming and the cultivation of eggplants, melons, tomatoes, and other crops. In March 2006, it merged with Mikamo Town in Miyoshi County to become Higashimiyoshi Town in Miyoshi County. 54.84 ^km2 . 6,459 people (2003).

It occupies the northern part of the Okazaki Plain and the hills, with the Aichi Irrigation Canal running through the center, and is served by the Meitetsu Toyota Line, the Tomei Expressway, and National Route 153. Formerly a purely rural area, the Toyota Motor Corporation plant moved in and industrialization has progressed, and the area is also rapidly becoming residential. In January 2010, it was incorporated as a city and became Miyoshi City. 32.11 ^km2 . Population: 56,252 (2005).

徳島県北西部，三好郡の旧町。吉野川上流の北岸，讃岐(さぬき)山脈の南斜面を占める。主集落は扇状地にある昼間で，徳島線が通じる。米，麦，タバコを産するほか，酪農，ナス・メロン・トマトなどの栽培を行う。2006年３月，三好郡三加茂町と合併し町制，三好郡東みよし町となる。54.84km²。6459人（2003）。

愛知県中部，西加茂郡の旧町。岡崎平野北部と丘陵部を占め，中央を愛知用水が貫流，名鉄豊田線，東名高速道路，国道153号線が通じる。かつては純農村地帯であったが，トヨタ自動車工場が進出して工業地化が進み，住宅地化も著しい。2010年１月市制施行，みよし市となる。32.11km²。５万6252人（2005）。
