Green turtle - Green turtle

Japanese: ミドリガメ(緑亀) - ミドリガメ
Green turtle - Green turtle
A baby turtle of the family Trachemys native to America that is popular as a pet. In Japan, most turtles sold commercially under the name of green slider are of the Trachemys genus, especially the red-eared slider T. scripta elegans (illustration) and the Columbian peacock turtle T. s . callirostris . While still a baby, the turtle has beautiful patterns on its shell and head and neck, but these fade as it grows. To raise them, land is provided in the aquarium, and the water temperature is kept at around 25-30°C.
