The top real estate company. One of the Mitsui Big Three. When Mitsui Gomei was absorbed by Mitsui & Co. in 1940, the real estate division was separated and established as Mitsui Fudosan the following year in 1941. In 1957, the company entered the land development business in the waterfront area of Chiba Prefecture. In 1968, the company constructed Japan's first skyscraper, the Kasumigaseki Building. The company has also worked on commercial buildings, shopping malls, hotels, and more. In 1983, the company invested in Oriental Land Co., Ltd. jointly to establish Tokyo Disneyland, and is known for its proactive management. It also has a track record in the construction and sale of condominiums. After the war, the company invited the head of the Mitsui family to become an advisor, and in 1956, it absorbed the Mitsui head office, which was in liquidation. Headquarters in Tokyo.
