Born: July 5, 1901, Shitomir [Died] January 1987. A Soviet philosopher. In the philosophical debates that took place from the late 1920s to the early 1930s, he criticized A. Deborin and his followers as idealistic and anti-Marxist. In 1943, he was awarded the Stalin Prize for his contributions to the history of philosophy. He visited Japan in July 1958.
