Central Ehime Prefecture, Matsuyama City and Upper hole Kamiukena county Kuma Bear A pass on the border of Takaharu Town. It is 720 meters above sea level. It is the highest point and the most difficult part of National Route 33 (Tosa Kaido). The Misaka River (Shigenobu River system) on the north side flows into the Seto Inland Sea, and the Kuma River ( Niyodo Niyodo The river system flows into the Pacific Ocean and is its watershed. It offers a great view of the Matsuyama Plain and the Seto Inland Sea. In winter, the area becomes a ski resort.

愛媛県中部、松山市と上浮穴かみうけな郡久万くま高原町の境にある峠。標高720メートル。国道33号（土佐街道）の最高点で最大の難所。北側の三坂川（重信川水系）は瀬戸内海に、南側の久万川（仁淀によど川水系）は太平洋に注ぎ、その分水嶺となっている。松山平野・瀬戸内海の眺望がよい。冬季、付近はスキー場となる。
