This hot spring is a national health resort located on the right bank of the Hontani River in Suwamachi (now Hokuto City) in northwest Yamanashi Prefecture. It is said to have been discovered when Takeda Shingen had gold mined. It is a radioactive borate earth salt spring famous for its high radon content. 32°C. It belongs to Chichibu Tama Kai National Park and is the base for climbing Mt. Kinpu and Mt. Mizugaki.
