Inazumi [Hot Spring] - Inazumi

Japanese: 稲住[温泉] - いなずみ

This hot spring is located in Ogatsu-cho, Ogatsu-gun, southeastern Akita Prefecture. It is located along the Yakunai River, a tributary of the Omono River, in the mountains on the north side of the Kamuro Mountains. It is a green spring with a temperature of 75°C. It is part of the Akinomiya Onsen Village along with Yunotai, Takanoyu, and Yunomata. Formerly a therapeutic hot spring resort, it became popular with tourists after the Senshu Sun Line (National Route 108), which crosses the Onikobe Pass and leads to the Onikobe Onsen Village in Miyagi Prefecture, was opened in 1965. At Arayu, about 1km east from where this hot spring originates, there is a siliceous rock made of hot spring sediment that hardens like fish eggs, and a fountain tower, both of which have been designated as natural monuments.

秋田県南東部，雄勝郡雄勝町にある温泉。雄物川の支流役内（やくない）川に沿い，神室（かむろ）山地北側の山間に位置する。緑バン泉，75℃。湯ノ岱（ゆのたい），鷹ノ湯，湯ノ又とともに秋ノ宮温泉郷をなす。以前は湯治場であったが，鬼首（おにこうべ）峠を越えて宮城県の鬼首温泉郷へぬける仙秋サンライン(国道108号線)開通(1965)とともに行楽客に親しまれるようになった。この温泉が源泉としている1km余東の荒湯には，温泉の沈殿物が魚の卵のように固まった鮞状（じじよう）ケイ石および噴泉塔があり，ともに天然記念物に指定されている。
