Mycotoxins
This refers to a mycotoxin. It is a toxic substance produced by filamentous fungi. A typical example is aflatoxin. The fungi that produce it include Aspergillus flavus , Claviceps purpura , Fusarium graminearum , Aspergillus ochraceus , Aspergillus parasiticus , and Penicillium viridicatum .
