Pillar-supported buildings

Japanese: 掘立柱建物 - ほったてばしらたてもの
Pillar-supported buildings
A building is made by digging a hole in the ground and erecting pillars in it. The pillars are erected at the four corners and between the corners, so there are pillars lined up in a square where the building once stood.
