Legal Professionals' Compendium - Hosso Shosho

This is a law book for nobles from the end of the Heian period to the beginning of the Kamakura period. Its prototype was created in the late Heian period as a product of the formation of a family school by the Sakagami clan, a scholar of legal thought, and was later expanded upon. It is a three-volume book, with the first volume covering crimes, the second volume covering prohibitions, buying and selling, debts, collection, borrowing, pawning, entrustment, wasteland, and miscellaneous matters, and the third volume covering punishment, mourning clothes, temporary clothing, and miscellaneous filth. For each clause, the Ritsuryo Code and its commentaries are cited, followed by the editor's draft text (opinion). Some of the draft texts show the creation of new legal principles that are in line with the realities of society, and in the field of criminal law, it has been pointed out that the texts also influenced the composition of the Goseibaishikimoku. 平安時代末期から鎌倉時代初期にかけての公家(くげ)の法書。その原型は、明法家(みょうぼうか)坂上(さかがみ)氏の家学形成の産物として平安末期には成立し、その後加筆がなされたとされている。上巻（罪科）、中巻（禁制・売買・負債・出挙(すいこ)・借物(しゃくもつ)・質物・預物(あずかりもの)・荒地・雑事）、下巻（処分・喪服・服仮・雑穢(ぞうえ)）を内容とする全三巻。各条項ごとに、律令格式(りつりょうきゃくしき)およびその注釈書を引用して、その後、編者の案文(あんぶん)（意見）を記している。案文のなかには、社会の現実に即した新たな法理の創出もみられ、刑事法の分野では、御成敗式目(ごせいばいしきもく)の条文構成への影響も指摘されている。『群書類従』所収。
