Khosrō II

Japanese: ホスロー[2世]（英語表記）Khosrō II

King of Sassanid Persia. Reigned 590-628. Known as Parwiz (the Victorious). Grandson of Khosrow I and son of Hormizd IV. In 590, when the general Warafran (Bahram Chobin) rebelled, his mother's brother Wistam dethroned Hormizd IV and installed Khosrow. After Warafran usurped the throne, Khosrow fled to the Eastern Roman Empire and, with the help of Emperor Maurice, was able to return to Ctesiphon the following year.

ササン朝ペルシアの王。在位590‐628年。パルウィーズ(〈勝利者〉の意)の名で知られる。ホスロー1世の孫で，ホルミズド4世の子。590年，将軍ワラフラン(バフラーム･チョービーン)が反乱を起こすと，母の兄ウィスタームはホルミズド4世を廃してホスローを即位させた。ワラフランが王位を簒奪（さんだつ）したので，ホスローは東ローマ帝国に逃れ，マウリキウス帝の援助を得て，翌年クテシフォンに戻ることができた。
