Chronicles of the Nine Generations of the Hojo

(1) Chronicles of the Kamakura Shogunate. 2 volumes. From 1183 (Juei 2) to 1332 (Ganko 2), it records the names of the emperor, regent, shogun, regent, Rokuhara Tandai, Mandokoro steward, and Monchujo steward, as well as their careers and important events, in chronological order. The original is thought to be the Kamakura Nenki (Chronicle of the Kamakura Shogunate) owned by Kyoto University (completed around 1331 and later expanded), but the format is quite different. It is included in Zoku Gunsho Ruiju (Miscellaneous section) and Kaisei Shiseki Shuran (Revised Historical Records Collection) (Volume 5).

(2) A historical book that tells the story of events that occurred during the nine generations of Hojo clan heads (tokuso) from Tokimasa Hojo to Sadatoki Hojo. It was published in 1675 (Enpo 3). It consists of 12 volumes and is said to have been written by Asai Ryoi. It is included in the Annotated Collection of Japanese Literature.

(1)鎌倉幕府の年代記。2巻。1183年（寿永2）より1332年（元弘2）まで、天皇、摂政関白(せっしょうかんぱく)、将軍、執権、六波羅探題(ろくはらたんだい)、政所(まんどころ)執事、問注所(もんちゅうじょ)執事の人名およびその履歴と重要事件を編年体で記す。原本は京都大学所蔵の『鎌倉年代記』（1331年ころ成立しのちに増補）であると思われるが、体裁はかなり異なる。『続群書類従』（雑部）、『改訂史籍集覧』（第5冊）所収。

(2)北条時政(ときまさ)より貞時(さだとき)に至る北条氏家督（得宗(とくそう)）9代の間の事件を物語風に記した史書。1675年（延宝3）刊行。12巻。浅井了意(あさいりょうい)の作といわれる。『校註(こうちゅう)国文叢書(そうしょ)』所収。
