Born in the first year of the Keiun era. Grandson of Emperor Tenmu. Seventh son of Prince Nagano. Initially called Prince Oichi and Prince Ochi. In the fourth year of the Tenpyo Shoho era, he was given the clan name of Fumimura Mahito along with his elder brother Kiyomi. After serving as a councilor and Nakatsukasa minister, he was promoted to Dainagon and Shonii. Died on November 28, the eleventh year of the Hoki era. He was 77 years old.
