Phthalocyanine is an organic pigment with a unique structure. When copper is used as the central metal, it is called copper phthalocyanine, which is a blue pigment, and when the aromatic nucleus surrounding copper phthalocyanine is polychlorinated, it is called phthalocyanine green, which is an important green pigment. (Chemical formula) Both have vivid colors and excellent light, water, chemical and heat resistance, and are used in a wide range of coloring materials. Japan is the world's largest producer and exporter of phthalocyanine pigments. Source: Heibonsha World Encyclopedia, 2nd Edition Information |
