Japanese: 二人の旅人 - ふたりのたびびと

The Grimm Brothers' Fairy Tales has this title, but it is also known as "Truth and Lies." Two brothers (or companions) argue about the value of truth and lies (or two religions) and ask a human (animal) they meet along the way to mediate. The one who argues for the value of truth loses, has both of his eyes gouged out, and is left on the road. One day, from a conversation between the animals (demons), he learns how to cure his own eyesight, and also cures the princess's eyesight (disease), becoming a minister. He later reunites with his evil brothers (comrades).

《グリム童話》ではこの題名がつけられているが，またの名を〈真実と偽り〉という話型。二人の兄弟(または仲間)が真実と偽り(または二つの宗教)の価値について争い，道で出会った人間(動物)に仲裁を依頼する。真実の価値を主張したほうが負け，両眼をえぐり取られ，道に放置される。あるとき，動物(悪魔)たちの会話から，自分の視力を治す方法を知り，王女の視力(病気)も治して，大臣になる。のちに悪い兄弟(仲間)に再会する。
