A contract in which the two parties do not discuss the contents of the contract individually, but only when one party mechanically follows the predetermined contract contents. Most insurance contracts, electricity, water, gas supply contracts, and transportation contracts are annexed contracts (→ Ordinary Contract Clauses). When the general public enters into such contracts, they do not discuss the contents of the contract, and have almost no freedom to decide whether or not to enter into the contract, and are essentially forced to do so. Therefore, national supervision is necessary to ensure the rationality of the contract contents, and public utility charges and fares are subject to a system of approval by supervisory authorities regarding contract clauses, and the contents of contracts are regulated by the state (→ Saleilles).
