Fezzan
This region occupies the southwestern part of Libya. It covers an area of ​​about 570,000 km2 , which is about one third of the entire country, but its inhabitants are only about 50,000 people, mainly Tibetans and Tuaregs. Its center is Sebha. Most of the region is desert, and the scattered oases are where date palms are cultivated and handicrafts are made.
