Fink - Finku (English spelling) Eugen Fink

German philosopher and professor at the University of Freiburg. He served as Husserl's assistant in his final years and inherited his phenomenology, opening up new possibilities through creative interpretations, while also criticizing phenomenology under the influence of Heidegger, Nietzsche, and early Greek philosophers, and propounding his own phenomenological ontology. He sought the meaning of human existence, which is open to the world or universe, from the inner testimony of one's own existence. He analyzed the meaning of human existence in the intersection and tension of labor, domination and struggle, love, play, and death, which are considered to be concrete fundamental anthropological phenomena, while paying attention to the "cosmic-anthropological difference" between the world and what is internal to the world.

ドイツの哲学者。フライブルク大学教授。フッサールの最晩年の助手を務めてその現象学を受け継ぎ、創造的な解釈を通して新たな可能性を切り開くとともに、ハイデッガーやニーチェ、初期ギリシア哲学者の影響のもとでその現象学に批判を加え、独自の現象学的存在論を唱えた。彼は、世界ないし宇宙に開かれた人間の存在のもつ意味を、自己の実存の内的証言から問い求めていった。そして人間存在の意味を、具体的な人間学的根本現象とされる労働、支配と闘争、愛、遊び、死の交錯と緊張のなかで、世界と世界内部的なものとの「宇宙・人間学的差異」に注目しつつ分析した。
