Japanese: 氷上志計志麻呂 - ひかみのしけしまろ

Years of birth: unknown. An aristocrat from the Nara period. The eldest son of Prince Shioyaki (given the surname Hikami in 758) and Imperial Princess Fuwa. Grandson of Imperial Prince Nittabe. In September 764, his father was executed by beheading for his involvement in the Fujiwara no Nakamaro Rebellion, but Shike Shimaro was pardoned because his mother was the daughter of Emperor Shomu. However, in May 769, a member of his maternal family, Inukai Anehime, plotted to put Shike Shimaro on the throne, which was discovered, and his mother was banished from the capital, and Shike Shimaro was exiled to Tosa Province (Kochi Prefecture). His whereabouts are unknown since then. In the intercalary month of January 782, his younger brother Kawatsugu also plotted a rebellion claiming the throne, but failed. Along with his father, who was falsely installed by Nakamaro, this father and son were constantly at the mercy of the dream of the throne.

奈良時代の貴族。塩焼王(758年に氷上を賜姓)と不破内親王の長子。新田部親王の孫。天平宝字8(764)年9月,藤原仲麻呂の乱に連座して父は斬刑に処されたが,母が聖武天皇の皇女であるところから志計志麻呂は罪を許された。しかし神護景雲3(769)年5月,母方の一族県犬養姉女が志計志麻呂を皇位につけようと企てて発覚,母は京外に追放,志計志麻呂も土佐国(高知県)に流された。以後消息不明。延暦1(782)年閏1月,弟の川継も皇位を主張して謀反を企てたが失敗,仲麻呂に偽立された父といい皇位の夢に翻弄されつづけた父子であった。
