Earrings
Irish writer, educator, and nationalist. Born in Dublin. From an early age, he aspired to revive the Gaelic language, which could be called the Irish language, and joined the Gaelic Language League in 1895. After graduating from Royal University, he taught Irish at the Catholic University and at the same time became editor of the Gaelic Language League's journal, editing the paper in both English and Irish, the language of the ruling country at the time. He wrote poems, short stories, and plays in both languages, and in 1908 founded St. Enda's School, which began teaching in both languages. In 1913, he became a member of the Organizing Committee for the Irish Volunteers, and later joined the IRB (Irish Republican League). On April 24, 1916, during the republican armed uprising (Easter Rising) aimed at independence from Britain, he led the volunteers, drafted the Proclamation of the Provisional Republic of Ireland, and read it as the President of the Provisional Government. However, the uprising was suppressed as a rebellion, and he was sentenced to death by a British military tribunal and shot on May 3. His younger brother William, who also participated in the uprising, was shot dead on the 4th.

Earrings

Generally, it is an abbreviation of pierced earring, and refers to jewelry that is attached through a small hole in the earlobe. Pierce means "to prick or make a hole," and piercings can be made not only in the earlobe, but also in the nose, lips, nipples, genitals, etc. Earrings began to spread in Japan around the 1970s, and have become firmly established because they cause less discomfort when worn, such as pain, compared to the screw-on and clip-on earrings that were mainstream until then, and there are many types available. However, problems such as an increase in metal allergies due to improper wearing have also arisen.
