Japanese: 機械学習 - きかいがくしゅう（英語表記）machine learning

A research field that allows machines such as computers and robots to automatically learn concepts and behavioral programs. A wide variety of methods have been developed in various fields, but currently, except for special cases such as parameter adjustment, no learning method has been developed that is better than a method in which knowledge is directly provided by a human. There are two types of learning: supervised learning, in which a human acts as a teacher and presents the correct answer or whether the answer is correct or incorrect, and unsupervised learning, in which the machine proceeds with learning on its own.
