２能面の一。2本の角、大きく裂けた口をもつ鬼女の面。女性の憤怒ふんぬと嫉妬しっととを表し、「葵上あおいのうえ」「道成寺」などに用いる。面打ちの般若坊が始めたと伝える。般若面。
３沈香じんこうの一。伽羅きゃらを用い、六十一種名香の一つに数えられる。
４紋所の名。般若の面を図案化したもの。
５「船若面はんにゃづら」の略。
