〘Noun〙 One of the twelve notes of gagaku. Also, one of the five notes. It is the tenth note from the fundamental note of ichigoshi, and is said to be close to the note of B in Western music. 〘名〙 雅楽の十二律の一つ。また、五音の一つ。基音の壱越の音から一〇律めの音で、洋楽のロ音に近いという。また、六調子の中の盤渉調を略してもいう。※拾芥抄（１３‐１４Ｃ）上「五音 宮 一越、商 平、角 双、徴 黄調、羽 盤渉」
