Ma Xulun - Bajorin

Japanese: 馬叙倫 - ばじょりん

Chinese classical scholar and politician. Born in Zhejiang Province. Active in journalism in the late Qing Dynasty. He held important posts in the education world, including as a professor at Peking University. Founded the China Association for the Promotion of Democracy during the war of resistance against Japan. After liberation, he served as chairman of the association, vice chairman of the China Democratic League, and a member of the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. His works include Shuowen Jiezi Kenkyuho (Shuowen Jiezi Kenkyuho).
