Imhetep
He was a minister to King Djoser of the Third Dynasty of Egypt. He was a priest of Heliopolis, but is known for constructing the step pyramid of Djoser and the surrounding tomb complex at Saqqara. He was the first architect to build cut stone buildings, and is the oldest known architect. He is also said to have been a physician. Even after his death, he was known as a wise man, and was later revered as a demigod. During the Ptolemaic dynasty, he was considered the god of medicine, and in Greece he came to be identified with Asclepius, the god of medicine.
