Schelling This work was written in 1809, during the transition from identity philosophy to positive philosophy. The official title is "Philosophical Investigations into the Essence of Human Freedom and Related Objects." It discusses the problem of theism: how is human freedom, including the possibility of evil, possible under a good Creator God? It goes beyond Spinoza's pantheism with an organicist view of nature, and shows a mystical tendency to revive the personality of God. God has the basis of his existence within himself.

シェリング歳のとき(1809)の，同一哲学から積極哲学への移行期に書かれた著作。正式の標題は《人間的自由の本質およびそれと関連する諸対象に関する哲学的諸探求》。善なる創造主･神のもとで，悪の可能性を含む人間の自由がいかにして可能かという，弁神論の問題を論じている。スピノザの汎神論を有機体論的な自然観で乗り超えるとともに，神の人格性を復活させる神秘主義的傾向を示している。神は自分の実存の根拠を自己の内に持つ。
