An incorporated association established on March 1, 1956 with the goal of promoting the peaceful use of atomic energy. With the consensus of the industrial sector, the association conducts comprehensive surveys, research, exchanges information, and coordinates opinions on atomic energy, and cooperates with the government's atomic energy development plan to promote the development and peaceful use of atomic energy. It has committees and liaison committees for surveys and research, dispatches overseas survey teams, and publishes atomic energy-related materials.
