A large wooden tablet used to confirm who was attending work at the Imperial Court. It was 5 shaku 3 sun long, 8 sun wide at the top and 7 sun wide at the bottom, and 6 bu thick, with the official rank and name of those enrolled listed at the bottom. Those for courtiers were placed in the Seiryoden, those for ladies-in-waiting in the Taibansho, and the rest were placed in each government office, and those who attended work had a piece of paper with the date written on it, called a hanachigami, pasted under their name. Nikyu no fuda. Hidamai no fuda. Senjo. *Kyureki-Ichibun, Tenryaku 4 (950), July 23rd, "Another day the courtiers summoned daily payment slips, and an order was issued for one of the calligraphers at the Imperial Library's Goshosho."

= A letter from Ben no Naishi (around 1278) on June 1, 5th year of the Kangen era: "I stayed in the palace for a long time, and watched the arrival of the Nikkyuu no Gofuda and other things."

Hidamai [Daily Wage ]

= Daily wages slip ※ Utsubo (around 970-999) Naishi no Kami "In the presence of the Emperor, I was asked to become the Naishi no Kami."

宮中で、出勤者の確認のために用いた大形の木簡。長さ五尺三寸、幅上八寸下七寸、厚さ六分で、その下部に在籍者の官位姓名を列記したもの。殿上人のものは清涼殿に、女官のものは台盤所に、その他は諸官司ごとに置き、出勤者は自分の名の下に日付を記した紙片すなわち放紙(はなちがみ)を貼った。にきゅうのふだ。ひだまいのふだ。仙籍。※九暦‐逸文・天暦四年(950)七月二三日「又殿上日給簡召内裏御書所書手一人令書之」
