A town in Hino County in southwestern Tottori Prefecture. It is in the upper reaches of the Hino River. The main settlement, Shoyama, is on the Hakubi Line and is the center of Oku-Hino. Forest products are thriving here. Chromium ore is also a major producer. There are sewing and low-voltage factories here. It is home to Sekkakei Valley and Mt.
