The peace treaty between Japan and India after World War II Signed in Tokyo on June 9, 1952. India signed the peace treaty independently because it was not involved in the peace conference due to its dissatisfaction with the original proposal for trusteeship of Okinawa by the United States in the San Francisco Peace Treaty.
