An Italian political organization founded in 1910. The idea of a "proletarian Italy" arose among some intellectuals in the early 20th century against the backdrop of the plight of Italian immigrants. This gave rise to the nationalist movement, which aimed to strengthen the state and improve Italy's international status, but initially it had more of a cultural character. As the movement progressed it led to the formation of the Nationalist Association, which later took on the character of a political movement. The association's leading members were Corradini, Federzoni, Maraviglia, and Coppola, and they published the weekly magazine Idea Nazionale to present their views.
