A town in Nishisonogi County in the southern part of Nagasaki Prefecture. It borders Omura Bay to the north and Nagasaki City to the south, and is served by the Nagasaki Main Line. The town produces citrus fruits and has been rapidly developed into a residential area. It is home to Michinoo Onsen, and Mount Kotonoo (451m) offers a great view of Omura Bay. Area: 28.73 km2 .
