A court official in the late 5th century. Also written as Tsuka no Omi. According to the Nihon Shoki and Kojiki, he came from the Korean Peninsula with his father Achi no Omi during the reign of Emperor Ojin, claiming to be of Chinese descent, and was sent to Kure (an area in the Jiangnan region of China) with his father at the end of the reign, where he returned with some female craftsmen. He was also ordered to manage the pottery, saddle, painting, brocade, and translation departments of the Imakino Tehito (newly arrived handicraft craftsmen) who were sent as tribute from Baekje to the reign of Emperor Yūryaku.
