Born in 1626. Hatamoto. In 1628, he became an Arsonist and Theft Officer (later Arsonist and Theft Officer), and controlled arson, thieves, and men of noble descent in Edo. He also burned Yaoya Oshichi to death. In 1630, he arrested over 200 men of noble descent. In the same year, he became Oometsuke. He was feared as Oni Kan'eyu for his strict interrogations.
