Nagasaki Takasuke

Year of birth: Year of birth unknown. A vassal of Tokuso during the late Kamakura period. His father was Takatsuna. He was Shinzaemon-no-jo and Shirozaemon-no-jo. Together with Takatsuna and Adachi Tokiaki, he was at the center of the Kamakura shogunate administration. In Bunpo 1 (1317), he became the internal kanrei when Hojo Takatoki succeeded him as head of the family. In 1324, Takasuke was the servant of the passport (passage permit) for the tax-carrying ship in Kayuda-sho, Chikuzen Province, and the sleeve seal was probably Takatoki. When Takatoki stepped down as regent in 1326 (Shochu 3), he appointed Kanazawa Sadaaki and then Akahashi Moritoki as regents in order to prevent Yasuie's younger brother from assuming the position of regent. He also accepted bribes from both sides in a lawsuit by the Ando clan, and tried to remove Takatoki from his position, showing his sole power. During the Shochu Incident, he escorted Hino Suketomo and Toshimoto, who had been arrested, and during the Genko Incident, he advised the murder of Toshimoto, who had been re-arrested. 鎌倉後期の得宗被官。父は高綱。新左衛門尉,四郎左衛門尉。高綱・安達時顕と共に鎌倉幕府運営の中枢にあった。文保1(1317)年,北条高時の家督継承により内管領についた。元亨4(1324)年の筑前国粥田荘の年貢運送船の過所(関所通行許可証)は高資が奉者で袖判は高時であろう。正中3(1326)年の高時の執権辞任では,その弟である泰家の執権就任阻止のため金沢貞顕,次いで赤橋守時を執権に就任させた。また,安東氏の訴訟で双方から賄賂をもらうなど専権がめだち高時から排除されようとした。正中の変では,逮捕した日野資朝・俊基の護送に当たり,元弘の変では再逮捕された俊基の殺害を進言している。鎌倉幕府滅亡に当たり自害した。<参考文献>立花みどり「長崎氏と二階堂道蘊」(『鑑賞日本古典文学』21号),細川重男「内管領長崎氏の基礎的研究」(『日本歴史』479号)
