Introversion

The opposite of extroversion, this is a personality type in which interests and concerns are directed toward oneself rather than the outside world. They are thoughtful and reserved, tend to hesitate when making decisions, and lack execution power. They are also skeptical and critical of things, tend to be opinionated, do not express their emotions outwardly, are withdrawn, and have few friends. Their thinking tends to be abstract and theoretical, not concrete or practical.

外向性とは逆に、興味や関心が外界でなく自分自身に向けられる性格のこと。思慮深く控え目で、決断に際してためらいがちで、実行力に乏しい。また、物事に対して懐疑的、批判的で、自説にこだわりやすく、感情をあまり外に表さず、引っ込み思案で、友人が少ない。考え方は抽象的、理論的で、具体的、実際的でない傾向がある。
