Khagan (Khan) during the height of the Western Turkdom. Reigned 618?-628. Brother of Shaki Khan. After ascending to the throne, he confronted the Sassanid Empire of Persia and brought the countries of the Hindu Kush mountain range under his control. He moved his base from the Yilduz Valley in the center of the Tianshan to Qianquan in the western Tianshan and then to Suyab (Suiyab), and while relying on the nomadic steppe region, he secured the oases in the area and appointed governors in each region. One of the foundations of his prosperity was his control over these key transportation and trade points from east to west and north to south.

西突厥の最盛期のときのハガン(可汗)。在位618？‐628年。射匱（しやき）可汗の弟。即位後，ササン朝ペルシアと対峙し，ヒンドゥークシュ山系の国々を支配下に入れた。天山山脈ほぼ中央のユルドゥズ渓谷にあった本拠地を天山西部の千泉，次いでスイアーブ(砕葉)に移し，遊牧草原地帯に依拠しつつこの一帯のオアシス群を確保して各地に代官を任命した。繁栄の基礎の一つは，この東西･南北の交通･貿易の要地を掌握したことにある。
