The Light of the Inadas - Inada no Goko

Japanese:
The Light of the Inadas - Inada no Goko

This is a phenomenon that occurs when you stand with your back to the sun in the early morning when there is a lot of dew on the leaves of grass and cast your own shadow, and the area around the shadow of your head appears bright and faint. It can be seen not only on rice leaves but also on lawn grass and other grasses. The sunlight enters the dew, reflects off the surface of the leaves, and emerges towards you, in the same way as a cat's eyes glowing in the dark or a road sign that glows when hit by headlights. It was first recorded by the Italian painter B. Cellini in the 16th century, so it is also called "Cellini's Light."
