Semenanjung Doberai is a peninsula in Irian Jaya (western New Guinea), at the eastern end of Indonesia. During the Dutch colonial period, it was called the Vogelkop Peninsula, which means "bird's head" because of its shape, and after World War II it became the Cendrawasih Peninsula, and then the current name. It faces Irian Gulf to the east and Berau Gulf to the south, and is connected to the mainland by the Berau Isthmus. Oil is produced in Wadiwang, Kuramono, Jaya, etc.

《Semenanjung Doberai》インドネシア東端、イリアンジャヤ（ニューギニア島西部）の半島。オランダ領時代にその形状から「鳥の頭」を意味するフォーヘルコップ（フォーゲルコップ）半島と呼ばれ、第二次大戦後にチェンドラワシ半島、続いて現名称になった。東のイリアン湾、南のベラウ湾に面し、ベラウ地峡により本島と結ばれる。ワジワン、クラモノ、ジャヤなどで石油を産する。
