〘 noun 〙① A skull that has been exposed to the elements and lost its flesh. Sharikobe (skull). Skull. ※Heike (before the 13th century) Volume 7 "The inscription 'Sharakaube' (the chamber chamber) is inscribed on it."② It's all bones, no flesh, so it's a pun on the lack of fleshiness. ※Sakehon: Kuruwachu Soujizohen (1777) "They say this prostitute is a prostitute like a Sharakaube."
