Special soil - tokushudojo

Japanese: 特殊土壌 - とくしゅどじょう
Special soil - tokushudojo
This refers to volcanic ash-based soils such as Shirasu, Bora, Kora, Akahoya, and weathered granite soils that are distributed in areas of southwestern Japan prone to meteorological disasters. These soils are especially protected as they are at risk of severe damage from typhoons.
