A baseball league is held twice a year, in spring and autumn, under the Toto Five Universities Baseball League (renamed the Toto University Baseball League in spring 1935), which was formed in the spring of 1931 by five universities: Chuo, Nippon, Kokugakuin, Senshu, and Tokyo Nogaku. Currently there are four divisions, each with a relegation match. In 1965, some universities withdrew from the league and formed the Metropolitan University Baseball League. → Kansai University Baseball / Tokyo Big Six Baseball Source : Heibonsha Encyclopedia About MyPedia Information |
